L’opera si divide in quattro quadri, ciascuno dei quali si riferisce a uno dei primi quattro album dei Led Zeppelin. Per ogni quadro una selezione di brani della band britannica viene intrecciata a composizioni originali di Giovanni Falzone ispirate e composte a partire da materiali originali del gruppo.

La Giovanni Falzone Contemporary Orchestra ha un organico e una sonorità
non convenzionale, infatti accanto a flauto e fagotto, a una sezione da jazz ensemble ci sono gli strumenti più tradizionali del rock

‘I LED ZEPPELIN fanno parte di quei gruppi che hanno accompagnato la mia adolescenza. Questo pero’, non è un disco di cover, ma un tributo di amore e riconoscenza, dove rivisito e trasformo il materiale originale che diventa generativo di
nuovo materiale sonoro. In sintesi estrema fare un tributo ai LED ZEPPELIN per me significa non chiedere mai al mio chitarrista di assomigliare a Jimmy Page, ma bensi’
di generare nuovi suoni a partire dalla sua arte’

The work consists of 4 frames, each referring to one of Led Zeppelin’s first four albums. In each frame, a selection of works by the British band is interwined with Giovanni Falzone’s own compositions as inspired by the group’s original music and lyrics.

La Giovanni Falzone Contemporary Orchestra avails itself of an unconventional ensemble and sound, the flute and the bassoon, along with the typical jazz ensemble, play with the most
traditional rock instruments.

‘The Led Zeppelin were one of those bands that filled my teenage years.
However, this is not a cover album, but a tribute full of love and gratitude, where I revisit and transform some of their original music to create a new music. In short, for me a tribute to
Led Zeppelin means I’ll never ask my guitar player to be like Jimmy Page, but to create new sounds from his Art instead.’
